My day of youth is over
My torch of life burns out
What used to be my sex appeal
Is now a water spout

Time was when of its own accord
It would from my trousers spring
But now it is a full time job
To find the blasted thing

It used to be amusing
The way it would behave
As early every morning
It stood and watch me shave

But now old age approaches
It fair gives me the blues
To see it hang its head on shame
And watch me clean my shoes
